
The easiest Chocolate Cake- The Chocolate Bar Cake-
This is the absolutely one of the easiest cakes to make. It is best served warm. It is fabulous with vanilla ice cream and it is a family favorite.
Cake
2 cups of self rising flour
2 cups of sugar
2 sticks of butter
1 cup of water
6 tablespoons of cocoa
1/2 cup sour milk (just add small amount of vinegar to milk, to make it sour)
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
Icing
1 stick of butter
4 tablespoons of cocoa
5-6 tablespoons of milk
1lbs of powdered sugar
Combine flour and sugar, set aside. Combine butter, water and cocoa in saucepan; bring to a boil. Pour over dry ingredients. Add sour milk, eggs and vanilla; mix until well blended. Pour into 17x11 inch baking pan (or use smaller to make thicker cake). Bake at 350 for 25 min (or until a toothpick comes our clean). ICING: Melt in saucepan butter; add cocoa and milk. Remove from heat; add powdered sugar. Pour over warm cake.
